Dear Neighbor,
This note is just to update you on the activities of summer and some proposals for the autumn.
This summer neighbors hosted two “Coffee with the Candidates.” One was for Mark Farrell,
running for mayor. The other was for Daniel Lurie, also a candidate for mayor. These events
were well received and both homes were packed with neighbors. Thank you Patrick Wolff for
volunteering your home.
We also have been working with our supervisor, Joel Engardio, to focus on the beautification of the Irving Street corridor. We have many ideas. We have already received a commitment to steam clean the sidewalks this autumn. Thank you Supervisor Engardio.
The Board of the neighborhood association has proposed several activities for the fall. I would like you to consider whether any or all are of interest to you. Each one will take work on our part. We want to make sure there is interest on the part of the community before we pursue any of the following.
Below you will find the survey. Please take a minute to complete it.

If any of these proposals seem valuable to you, please respond to the survey by September 13.
Thanks for taking the time to read this letter. Do feel free to let us know if you have additional ideas for the neighborhood.
Sincerely,
Flo Kimmerling
Mid-Sunset Neighborhood Association
