This summer we have two committees working. One, with our pro bono experts in toxicology and geology, continue to push for a thorough clean-up of the PCE in the environment of 2550 Irving Street. Our main efforts are with DTSC (Department of Toxic Substances Control) at this time.
The other committee is working on the beautification of the Irving Street corridor. We are supported by legislative aides of our supervisor, Joel Engardio.

As I mentioned in my last update, we are hoping to have several “Coffee with the Candidates”. So far two homes have been offered, one to introduce Mark Farrell and the other Daniel Lurie, both running for mayor of our city. If any of you are interested in hosting one of the other candidates, please do let us know.
We hope you will join us at one or both of these gatherings. The dates, times and registration information, as well as the addresses are noted below.
