Block Party: Permits appears to be what this month is all about. We just received our permit for the community block party, so we have changed the date. The original date gave us no time to prepare. Please mark August 30 on your calendar, as that is the new date for the block party. It will be on 27th Ave. between Irving and Lincoln. Everyone in the area is invited to attend. The hours will be from 11:00am-2:00pm.

Thanks to all of you who came to the Mayor’s “Listening Session” at my home last month. The turnout was amazing. I would like you to put another community gathering on your calendar.
